Obviously, the method of setting road guidance signs on urban roads is not practical. my country has newly promulgated the "Urban Road Traffic Signs and Markings Regulations". The "Urban Road Traffic Signs and Markings Regulations" is a national standard under preparation, jointly prepared by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Ministry of Public Security. It was compiled according to the needs and characteristics of urban road traffic management, and made up for the vacancy in the provisions of the "Road Traffic Signs and Markings" on urban road traffic signs and markings. It is to supplement the requirements for setting up some signs and markings on urban roads. For example, the use of the Futian lane must have supporting signals, signs, markings and other facilities, and the "Road Traffic Signs and Markings" only stipulates the markings. The "Urban Road Traffic Signs and Markings Setting Specification" also refines the setting methods of some signs and markings on urban roads. Relevant regulations have been supplemented to make the standards more complete. The code not only stipulates the method of setting urban road signs and markings, but also includes the work requirements of the setting process of signs and markings, the preparation of design documents, the coordinated setting of signs and markings, and the acceptance of construction.
